Overview

In this contract management course, you will gain the concepts, skills and knowledge required to manage the implementation, management, monitoring and closing of contracts. You will gain an understanding of the contract lifecycle and explore how to establish effective contracts, manage the contract relationship, monitor performance and deal with underperformance so that your organisation acquires services or products at a fair price with agreed quality. Separately, this course will also focus on establishing contract requirements and assessing risks in contracts. The course will explore how contract risk assessment should be carried out and the common errors made with contract risk assessments.

Separately, in this contract management course, you will also obtain an understanding of recent legal developments in the context of contract management and administration. We will explore the recent case law developments and legislative updates in the areas of contracting and contracting risk assessments.

Furthermore, this course will also explore the common pitfalls made in contract management and administration and the steps that should be taken to avoid these pitfalls.
